Yes, the rumour seems to turn out a real deal! Introducing Xperia™ ion by Sony (no longer with Ericsson)! woohoo! A standalone Sony branded Xperia is finally announced! Gods know how desperate and eager I’d waited for it like 2 months ago! All the rumours floating around the net made me gone excited from time to time whenever there is leak news ahead!

You see, I’m with my S.E K800i for like 5 years now, marking 6 this year! Been through death door with me twice and fall to the ground for like countless time but still manage to survive somehow. =.= Aside of that, the battery life couldn’t hold any longer than a day I’m afraid and sometimes calls/messages couldn’t reach so I guess its telling me to get over it! I originally wanted to pick Xperia™ Arc S 2 months back, till I found leak shots and rumors regarding new models for 2012!
Xperia™ ion is an impressive smartphone, and I am really excited by it. With an amazing (and really huge) 4.6 inch HD display (with Mobile BRAVIA Engine) it takes HD content viewing, game playing and web navigation to another level. The images really are brilliant and clear, and the sound experience is also really good, so watching HD movies is just amazing. I know. That’s one hell of a HUGE phone in hand! It includes all the feature I’d been waiting! The Arc S was a great piece of device seriously, but it couldn’t reach my satisfaction in few specs, 1080p recording, front cam, 512 RAM, etc… despite I really love the design of it. I think the Xperia™ ion will keep me another 5-6 years when Sony announce for the Asia Pacific! Im so gonna pick this up! Who needs an iPhone 5 when Xperia™ ion will rock 2012! :D

No offence Apple fans. I started to lose interest in it seriously despite I really love the unique and exclusive of IOS but with the ridiculous price tag on it, that’s seriously a biatch to me. xp

Fresh New Start

I know I had been neglected the blog for like 3 months ever since I started my internship! Somehow, Im glad its over now! :D and college finally kicks off yesterday! It’s so great to see everyone again seriously! I actually looking forward to graduation trip with them if they happened to organize it!

Anyway, 2011 has been a good year to me. I wouldn’t say it’s filled with great exciting moments but life changing year. Who will ever thought I would own an iPad back in the April ei? Of course with the help of some best friends around or I wouldn’t be part of an Apple user! Thanks again, guys! :)

The whole family went to Sabah back in November and I’m quite glad I didn’t miss it or I wouldn’t be able to capture so many wonderful photos back there! I got more than 16GB of photos to upload and it’s still in my HDD waiting to be upload on FB. Great scenery, awesome foods, beautiful mountains, the sound of breezing winds and beach! Gosh~ So much to tell and only if you can see it yourself!

Time spending with the family simply priceless if you ask me. Had a great time! 7 days and being treated like a 6 stars hotel meal if you asked me! I’ll upload the photos and you’ll know what I mean! No joke and I’m not gonna lie about it. The meal being served everyday is like paradise, I can assure you couldn’t even resist it!

3 months

Nervous, that’s all I could say. Despite it’s not the first time I having interview when I started working back in few years ago. Still, when you’re in somewhere unfamiliar and new faces, who wouldn’t freak out ei?

I should simply just follow with the flow and pray hard.

Marking the end of my Semester 5 last Wednesday was 5 days ago. Life goes on. Can’t escape.

Finally finished up my assignments and left little to touch and hand in by this week. Hope I wont screw it up this time. I put alot more effort on my 3D assignment compared with the other subject taught by the same lecturer. Now I hope everything gonna go smooth exactly how I want instead.

I’d send a number of emails to few companies but only few of them replied, it’s not that they weren’t good, just that I’m looking to have my intern in a video game or animation based company instead. Most of my college mate gotten themselves in website based company and even accepted pay as low as RM300, the best thing? Long working hour from 9am till 7pm. I don’t know how to survive. I’ll see if they are dead after 3 months.

Back to myself, I got 3 calls straight on the weekend asking me for an interview later morning and tomorrow. One based at Cheras, one at Kelana jaya and lastly Jalan Dutamas.

Hell man… all of them are like so far away to each other. Still, I’ll go for the 3 of them these 2 days so seriously wish me good luck charm is with me! For some reason, if given the job, I might pick Jalan Dutamas which actually based animation company and it was listed in the company list that given by my lecturer.

The last VICTORY!

It always feels the same when it comes to a certain time. The picture was like the time when I graduated Form 5. Guess it would never change. I never was a ready to say goodbye person to everyone. Still, life goes on!

I had the longest day in my life since I stepped into college for the past 2 years. From 10am till 10pm, staying at college rushing my assignment and headed to Victoria Station that is just located right beside my college to have the biggest dinner with the biggest group in my entire life.

The first time creating a full texture with detail character. Character based on MGS – Cyborg Ninja

Despite its just a simple 17 seconds rotation of the character but it took me more than a month to complete it. I should really put more effort in them as when the moment I finished rendering the character, the satisfaction inside simply burst and looking forward to learn even deeper into it!

Anyway, back to the topic. As soon as I finished rendering it was almost 6pm and everyone had ready to head Victoria Station for dinner. It wasn’t small group but total of 31 people. =)

and of course… a total bill of RM1448.70

Wow, oh wow oh wow! haha! More than a month ei? There’s so much happening this month, no really, I mean it! I might have gone M.I.A for the past whole month but I undergone alot of life experiences for my college life for the first time. Heard alot, seen alot, observed alot, last but not least, stress alot. HAHA!

Of course, September is also another month for the special ones. I mean ME. HAHA!

It’s been 1 year, ei? Bloody god damn speedy fast!

I wanted write more but I actually need to rush my final assignment and seek for company to do my 3 months internship. Damn those big company doesn’t reply my email. T-T I just want to do my 3 months intern only mah, also cannot meh?! Celaka.

I didn’t realized it has been 12 days since I last update. I have to say this sem really turned my time upside down! *sigh* but I had a lot of fun time with the college people and got closer with them. My Sem 5 are mostly related to business marketing. I don’t know bout you guys, but I really enjoy attending every single damn class and I won’t even want to miss any of it!

Despite I hate wearing formal for just the Professional Training class but it gave me a visual of me working in a company someday. I don’t know. Although putting the blazer makes me feel very uncomfortable but it does make me looked smart *shy*

My class is always seems the relaxing one compared to the Graphic’s. I don’t know why and I wonder it’s good or not. =.= anyway, I got tons of stuff to take care currently. For the event’s opening ceremony and my other assignments. My 3D model is almost “finished”, might need to touch up a littler further under the lecturer’s guidance I guess. We’ll see. Photos up for good.

I went to Empire Subang Jaya yesterday, helping out a friend of mine purchase her new toy – NEX C3 but unfortunately no stock left. In return, I wasn’t expecting anything when I just asked to play around the C3 and I got another Starbucks voucher! HAHAHAHA! This one is cool, cause all the voucher I received only give RM10 discount but this one can redeem any tall size beverage. Yes, ANY STARBUCKS BEVERAGE (12 Oz TALL SIZE)

Will be having a Raya break after this week. Hopefully gonna be packed and able to finish up my other 2 assignments in hand before the event (I doubt) and 6 weeks to Internship, peeps.

Sudah satu minggu tepat tepat! wah liaoo~! I only had 8 more weeks to my internship. Alright, counting down till the day and the stress is gaining day by day.

I only got 4 subject this sem. Professional Training, Digital Media 2, Digital Animation 3 and Marketing classes. Hype much!

Received the assignments from every subject since last week and everything back to the basic – doing research. LOTS OF LOTS OF RESEARCH. While my Professional Training class back to baby steps – Writing. From A to Z. Yeah. No joke. Writing. Not with pencil but fountain pen. Much alike those British people used a feather to write that kind of font.

Pretty hype I know. haa~ I used to call this type of handwriting “Doctor style” =.=

Been staying at home all day long seriously. If there’s no need I wouldn’t wanna go anywhere unless needed for the research. sigh~

Went to TS search for the fountain pen and blazer yesterday. Last went to TS was like… giving surprised to Jill? HAHA!

Found the blazer I want. Say, it wasnt really that expensive that I initially found in online store. mostly around Rm150-RM200. =.=

But there is this RUM shop and surprisingly there’s 2 outlet in TS and some more one level floor difference. I find TS is like a aircond version of Petaling Street. You can nego and bargain and even tons of choices to look for. I dont shop often especially clothes. So can’t blame me. Supposed to get it myself but I called my mum to sponsor me half and she said get it for me together with her along.

So yup, after class this morning went to TS again and tried out all the shop that I surveyed and pick the best one among 4-5 shops. Originally thought of picking the RM109 one but mum said turns out little TIGHT for my size. In the end tried RUM’s and mum kinda like it at first sight, same like I do especially the black strap collar, HAHAHA! Just that the price is little pricey for me even given 10% discount. ==,

Been wanted one of this long ago, comes in handy whenever any occasion like my upcoming cousin bro’s wedding in Dec later this year. Guess it just came at the right time since the Pro.Training class wanted us to look smart and PROFESSIONAL. =.=

What else? We even need to have our own name card and fountain pen that I mentioned earlier. Name card with our portrait photo. Yay? I’ll tell you more next week.

Felt like being FORCED to be mature in a way. My mind-set really starting to change sikit demi sikit.

Anyway, my sis got this mini Milo truck! HAHA! Back to the 50’s!

So much to do and I felt like my time is running short everyday. Need to cut down nap down seriously and put extra tons of effort in my assignments now. ARGH~ going crazy real soon.

Yesterday was the last day of July. Say, it didn’t seem great for everyone around me. Well, I dont know. All I remember during this month was Pokemon. No really. Im in episode 274 and it’s new season after that! HAHAHA! Gary defeated by Ash and went on journey to be a Pokemon Master Researcher. HAHAHA!

Alright, back to topic.

I had my last day of July with the loved ones again. Say, it’s actually more like a 1 year anniversary since we first time having our dinner there. Yup, one hell of a night! HAHA! Time flies lah. I gonna just attach the photos taken. I got my first assignment today and I need to have something to show next week.

It feels like something struggling inside. Trying to overcome it so hard but it just couldn’t break off. aww~ Just right in front of me! “Standing” right there before my eyes!

That feels so…. SUCK! Yeah~ it never failed to gain my attraction. It’s always in stunning and beautiful! What else you expect?

You won’t be thinking something else aren’t you? One that can made me so obsessed and desperate. Funny how it works huh? Yes, there it is…

Yeah~ I went to KLCC this evening after my lunch. The first time ever attended “Digital Lifestyle Expo”. Say, Friday was a good day to go actually. Not much crowd and get to explore freely! HA! It’s not a big event anyway, they only occupied the ground floor punya hall only.

Not much crowd. Can’t get any “people mountain people sea” scene at all! HAHA!

The only main purpose of this event was to introduce some electronics and mobile rather than PC. So, all you get was more to home entertainment, multimedia and imaging gadgets, not to forget mobile/broadband and gaming stuff. Leading brands like Apple, Logitech, Sony, Samsung, LG, Toshiba, Panasonic and etc offering latest product of theirs to keep up the trend. ==,

I find that LG and Samsung’s design wasn’t so bad after all but my heart is still with Sony side!
Back to topic, like it or not, I admit I am a big fan of Sony. My first stop once I step out from the train – Sony Style!

Tak boleh resist dia punya temptation lah. Dari far far away pun dapat sense dia punya bau yang penuh mystery sial ni! HAHAHAHA!

It’s funny how I step in without realizing it, the staff thought I was some tourist cuz I was having a bag and having the A550 wrap around my neck. The first thing I do was to find if there’s any sight of new stuff in store!

Unfortunately, nothing new since I had tested A35 and NEX C3 yesterday. So basically I just explore them like some tourist kept walking around snapping photos. ==, So jakun.

Yup, Toy Camera effect sort of like vignetting on the corner having lomo feel kind of photo to me. Quite interesting I must say.

By updating firmware for the A33/A55 and NEX series you can get the effect. And makes me wonder why the hell Sony never gave my A550 a single firmware update at all?! It would have been a sweet update for it as well! Not fair!

There it is. My “lover” HAHA!

Anyway, I update my iPad to 4.3.3 firmware and jailbreak it again! it’s not I got nothing better to do alright? Some apps I wanted required at least 4.3 and I desperately wanted it cause it’s some designing apps.

I actually took few days time to consider not to do all the trouble but… whatever! Now I missing some apps and have to redownload them from Cydia/Installous. Bloody troublesome. 自己拿来衰! luckily I did some research on some forums and did some back up or tragic might just happen. =.=

I need to lock myself for months to brush up my skills and portfolio for my internship in Oct! Sigh.. time is short! Wish me luck!

I know how it feels. REALLY. It’s really some kind of love and hatred inside when you desire about something you want so freaking wah lao badly but you just couldn’t get it right away. Im sure everyone does.

New Sony Alpha A35 and NEX C3 is officially out in Sony outlet now!

Sony might not be the best you could say, but you can’t deny that they a splendid job in entertainment products. Take example, Playstation, who never heard of it? Its’ recognizable PS logo and promises ultimate gaming experiences to hard-core gamers! BRAVIA, WALKMAN, CYBER-SHOT, VAIO and etc. All packed in features and comes with various stunning colours to pick. Im not saying other brand did not have the choices but compared with them, Sony did quite a pretty sweet designs on them. Don’t you think?

There, my sweetheart testing out the brand new Sony Alpha A35 that replaced A33 which came out last year. The first α Translucent Mirror (SLT) and DSLR cameras that offer incredible image quality plus ultra-fast shooting responses. Best thing is, they are compatible with most interchangeable A-mount.

I don’t feel like touching anything on the Soft Skin Effect. Basically it just smoothing away skin blemishes and minor wrinkles, and maintaining image sharpness around the eyes and mouth. Nothing special other than that but Picture Effect surprised me from the beginning till the end!

I personally find it a very cool feature especially in video recording, it does an amazing job for artistic expression! With a total of 11 possible creative variations to offered in the α series camera, explore the unlimited range of artistic expression with advanced effects like Partial Colour, a unique effect that lets you capture one particular colour in an otherwise black and white image!

I can do this in Photoshop too, it’s just that this offers a lot faster and accurate work I must say.

Yes, you can choose the effects and preview them RIGHT on the beautiful stunning 3.0 XtraFine TruBlack LCD with 921,600 pixels! Not convincing enough? With improved and revised 16.2mp CMOS sensor and 1080i 60p HD video and ISO up to 12800 for low light shooting especially night time how can you not fall for it?! Just something not perfect enough is the lack of swivel LCD that built in A33 previously!

Really, I would have gave A35 a 9/10 rating if only it has the built in swivel LCD! Perhaps the coming models I guess. But why A35 which is almost meet the perfection?!

Sigh!

By the way, we tested the NEX C3 for fun and we also got ourselves a RM10 Starbucks voucher just by testing the unit! Cool no?

It’s another Thursday and speaking of Thursday, Captain America is on big screen!!! Yes, watched it and I want to make some spoilers here. OK? HAHAHA! So read them at your risk!

*SPOIL SPOIL SPOIL* Captain America slept for 70 years after the event! HAHAHA!

Woke up in the very early morning just to catch this movie before I getting busy for college starting next week and how the hell can you miss the very classic superhero from Marvel?! Who never heard of Captain America anyway, all I remembered bout him was a guy on the head with a pair of white ~~chicken~~ eagle wing and possessing the huge round shield that throws like a Frisbee and comes back in hand. Pretty cool huh?

The very original looking of Captain America during my childhood days! CLASSIC!

I’m glad he actually came in real life or he’ll turned out being abandoned!

Of course you’ll never see such C.America in movie but this.

The guy that plays Human Torch in Fantastic Four as well – Chris Evan, now plays Captain America!

When I first saw the trailer I didn’t really put my hopes on it, well you see, some turns out sucks shit maybe I compared to much with the Batman and Superman back in 70-90s. No really. I find it awkward. Anyway, Captain America did quite a fine job, especially the part when Chris Evans got shrunken down with the CGI who has the body of Gollum! But the starting of the movie sort of dragging lah. Still, you’ll end up some genuinely funny lines in the movie.

Things started to get interesting when Gollum/Evans is finally transformed by the military into regular-hunky-Chris Evans the action starts. Basically, Captain America used steroids before they were cool! HAHAHA!

As I said, once Captain America is born, the action starts. There are massive huge explosions and punches and all that good stuff. Captain America kicks plenty of Nazi – and then HYDRA – ass. HAHA! I like the part when he went to save his buddy and other 400 soldiers that caught in prison, having his solo one man show for the first time in the movie!

Anyway, I watched the normal 2D version and find it pretty enjoyable enough. There’s not much 3D scene really, all I remember there is this less than 3 second where Captain America flying the shield right in your face.

After the movie, you’ll realized actually Captain America is just a sad character. He lost his love and never even had a chance to develop it! He slept for a freaking 70 years after the plan crashed! OPPS~! xP

Can I spoil somemore? Pleaseeee! HAHAHA! I told sweetheart I will spoil something. X> Yes, Im the bad guy come kiss my ass if you read this.

PREPARE! DON’T SAY I DIDN WARN YOU!

I think I just did at the starting up there, didn’t I?! HAHAHA! But dont leave the hall so soon after the movie ends. Wait till the credit finished and you’ll see Captain America in a gym trying to clear his doubt punching sandbag and Nick Fury (Director of S.H.I.E.L.D) came in and told him a mission bout saving the world! After that, fasten your seat belt and get hype by the trailer of THE AVENGERS that only shows only in movie! You wont find it anywhere in Youtube for now anyway, alright. maybe there is, here you go! HAHAHAHA!

Just not good enough

Yeah~ It’s another week and it’s the last week of July. Yay? My Sem 5 starts this week but class will be on next week. So I got my one more week holiday before I really lock myself up in the room for the 1 whole year. No joke man~ I don’t wanna disappoint my parents and failed them anymore.

My result did not done well this time. Well, compared to the previous 3 sem.

Lecturers never know how to pronounce and spell my name CORRECTLY. ==,

There, my ~~result~~ subjects. Above of all the subjects I got borderline and I got a freaking C+ in one of them for the first time, I mean in college. ==, Still, if I had put extra more effort on it I would have gotten higher grades and it’s not like they are not possible to achieve them! Just blame sendiri not hardworking enough.

The timetable wasn’t that bad anyway. Acceptable and satisfying. Only Wednesday classes will be having whole day long. Besides that, I still find myself will be free as usual but I doubt when all the assignments given by that time.

9 weeks of classes including assessment week, and I will be having my internship for the next 12 weeks after a Mid Sem Break in between and after. Gawwh~ how am I supposed to go for trip on November then?! SIGH~!

So much to brush up and take care right now. Need to work harder and practice 2 times harder on the drawing and software especially 3D Autodesk Max. Gods know how complicated it is, please share some wisdom make me pick up in no time!

Okay, here’s the thing. It’s kinda embarrassing and it happens when I went to met the guy to pick up the neck strap I mentioned previously. I realized how funny and stupid I was after that…

I wanted to take my sis’s blue Kancil when I sms the guy I’ll reach in 20 min time. Then my mum stopped me called me to take the gold one instead cause she scared the blue one got problem and broke down middle halfway, ok fine, it doesn’t matter to me which car I take. As long as I get my destination and receive my neck strap, Im all good. I was kind of hype and excited since I finally getting the neck strap that time.

So on the way along I sms along with the loved one and the guy that I’ll be reaching in 5 more min, and I messaged the guy…

“Bro, I will be reaching in 5 min time. Driving BLUE Kancil WJE 52XX at IOI Mall, Esso station there. *smiley face*”

and the hell, when the guy reached he was right in front of me with a red Myvi and he was looking around and HE SPOTTED ME feeling weird cause why it’s the GOLD Kancil WJE 52XX instead of the BLUE one. I felt like finding a hole and put my head inside at that moment. TnT

That was so MALU lahhhhh! All the while I was driving the GOLD one but I go msg people Im driving the BLUE one instead without even realizing anything at all! TnT

I received a SMS from the guy who helped me purchase the neck strap from HK this evening after my lunch! Calling me to pick it up at IOI mall. Guess what, the strap feels so comfortable it almost feels like holding a sponge! It’s elastic and stretchable! Wrapping around the neck doesn’t even felt any burden at all! No joke and I’m not promoting alright? Test it yourself when you see me with it! The color is sharp as well as striking, it’s beautiful and it’s perfectly looking amazing together with the A550!

Supposing yesterday was the day where history should have written by the 6C, 6H and 6U class but sadly turns out the responds was way too unacceptable so no choice but to called it off! Invited 100 over of invitations and only 29 that took the initiative to put “ATTENDING” in the FB event. People, we trying to make it happen just say you’re on or not. It’s not like it gonna kill you for just simple 2 clicks. Things wont be so complicated if everyone cooperate. We are all grown up adults ok?

Anyway, since the gathering did not happen so planned to have dinner with some close ones.

It’s really been awhile since we both met, even she too realized that. No joke, the last time we met was last year’s gathering and since then, all the outing or whatever occasions, she still did not make it. HAHAHA! Ladies and gentlemen, introducing… the one who used to be our dai ga jie back in Std 6, not ONE but TWO – Mei Mei and Yun Shan!

I still have to say that, YS’s iPhone 4 DAMN POOR THING. ==, The screen actually cracked for over a year and she still refused to repair it, it cost over RM600 to change the whole thing.

7 of us turn up man. Ok lah, nothing be be proud about. The Apple couple can’t make it probably celebrating her little brother’s birthday. Joe didn’t turn up also due to family dinner, same goes to Kah Wai and I don’t know the others. Supposed to have 10 exactly.

The dishes taste? Well… give me at least 3 bowl of rice.

You really got no idea how loud and hard we laughed during the 2 hours dinner man… Especially we were placed at the corner. We talked almost anything and laughed at anything! All the jokes and teasing each other really was darn fun! The other table sat beside us kept turn their head around to us and resulting, 吃饱 = 快走！

HAHAHA! All the gossips and updates among everyone really have us wonderful time.

Went to Pavilion for a night walking. It was almost 10pm and most of the shops closed despite it’s Saturday night. Chill out at Coffee Bean and 7 of us squeeze into one small round table and what we did? iPhones and iPad.

You see, it’s 22nd July today. 3 more days and I’m back to college woi! Still, I haven’t receive any letter and my result. Besides getting lazy during this 1 month holiday, I also realized I didn’t touch any software besides Photoshop for editing photos. Sigh. Damn fail.

I kinda afraid I couldn’t pick up the basic anymore since it’s like been a month since I last touch it! AHHH~ slacked too much, now kantoi, very good, laivincyuee! TnT Besides that, I realized I touched the PS3 not more than… 15 times since I got it on my birthday. wow! HAHAHA! But you can't blame me, there’s student everyday in out and I know whenever I start playing, they’ll surely being busybody and result not paying attention AND as conclusion for me, I got screwed cause I play at the wrong timing.

I would have finished the game long long ago!

That is why… there is a need for me to have a LCD in my room! xp I very tau puas hati punya. 40” ngam ngam ady. I wont mind taking up to 46” juga if the price is nice! but the thing is, the model I want just won’t lower than RM2k bloody hell.

Yes, loyal big fan of Sony here, no doubt I would want to pick up a Bravia and this model Bravia CX series caught my attention.

Despite it doesn’t come with any MotionFlow or support for 3D. I still find it worth getting with few features packed with it. There’s one lowest model (BX series) that cost RM1999 and my house is using that series. =.= It’s not that the BX doesn’t do great but it’s just personal opinion towards it.

Differences between CX and BX are actually very minor and few, the reason why I want to pick up CX was because the design is little slightly nicer than the BX. There is this glossy black plastic frame and a matte finish on the display, with the most immediately obvious change being the slightly-rounded corners I find it attractive! The sound system was equipped with S-Force Front Surround 3D!

In terms of features, FULL HD is of course a must especially it’s 40” we are talking here. What makes this model stands out than the BX is that, it’s equipped with Skype Ready, Bravia Internet Video & Internet Widgets, Wireless LAN Ready & Wi-Fi Direct and its now with X-Reality picture engine and Live Colour Technology with Advanced Contrast Enhancer! also, it supports DLNA 1.5 which you can stream video, music and photo from your laptop WIRELESSLY!

Browsing youtube and internet browser… even Facebook and Twitter!

Alright, that might doesn’t even matter to you, its not Wi-Fi built in. It actually need adaptor to get to the Wi-Fi. Still, the built in sound system is the main attraction ever since I compared with BX. But this tv would have been even worth buying if it comes with 100 Hz. Stop being so stingy, Sony!

Basically, Sony Bravia CX520 is an entry-level TV with great picture quality and no problems with clouding. All that's missing is support for 3D and motion interpolation.

I could get as low as RM2190 actually. It’s still too much for me to get this on my own. My house punya freaking old antique more than 15 years old bulky TV was also Sony anyway, wonder if still worth selling for RM500 or maybe trade-in.

Well, great evening for the survey I guess. Small discussion for 4 people talking about local TV channels in KLCC and the wallet just loaded with RM130 for a 1 hour plus discussion. HA~!

I never had complaints ever since I got my α550 2 years back but this time… I really need to say that, it’s tiring! Wah lao! Hanging the dslr around the neck makes you looked pro. But the thing is, hanging around for long time makes my neck sore and it burdens me. Im old, tak boleh tahan sakit dah!

So… I thought this would really be a good investment and this could be my aid!

Dear strappy, you served me well, strappy! and now I going to sell you away for RM50! HAHA! Don’t feel bad, you’re still as good as new when you served me the first day. It’s just you are not good enough for me now. Thank you for the past 2 years and hope the new owner will loved you as much as I used to! ♥

Yup, will be selling it at RM50 (RM115 officially) and dealing it with a guy at KLCC later evening 6pm and manage to found a seller in a forum who’s selling it for RM99 (RM125 officially). So I basically just sheet out another RM50 to purchase it. I know it sounds too much for just a neck strap but reconsidering again and again. After all, I will be using for long term and also… it’s a official Sony α product. What you expect?

Ha! I forgot to mention that, I’ll be attending a survey near KLCC at 7.30pm with Bulat and the token appreciation is RM130. Good lucky charm just keep coming to me! Keep believe in it!

Before this I originally thinking of picking up a unbranded black strap but with similar neoprene material for just merely RM18 but I just given it up. Reason of getting a new neck strap also because I’ll be having vacation this November so you guess it, long time of walking around while hanging the dslr around really can give a lot of pressure.

Been packed since Thursday. All the photos suddenly just flooded in the A550 in no time but oh well, promised to fully utilize it and here they are…

I actually went to Genting Klang just to exchange the macro filter lens I got earlier due to some VISIBLE scratches when the package came and the seller was nice and kind enough to do the exchange for me. Headed to 1U “鲜定味” for lunch. Gives me another word in mind, “先订位”

That’s how she eat. So adorable! *heart melts*

It’s a Taiwanese restaurant. The food was tasty anyway, more than enough, they had this Main Course Selections available every weekday starting from RM13.90++/set, add RM1 for one Pearl Milk Tea. Also, with single receipt of RM20 you’ll get a stamp and you’ll get all the varieties offered by them. Marketing strategy these days huh.

They have outlet in Sunway Pyramid, The Curve, Queensbay Mall(Penang), Sungei Wang Plaza, IMM Building (Singapore) and of course One Utama but funny, not one in Mid Valley. =.=

I have to say, I won’t get any girls cuter than she. She’s like a baby doll to me. God knows why I adore her so. *pinch face*

Back at home, test out some shots with the macro filter lens again and still, it never fail to impress me with it’s capability and drives me to spam my Twitpic with them! Ahh… when I view them using the Flipboard, it’s just looks as if Im reading a photography magazine! OH YEAH~

You really really really really really have to keep this in mind that when doing macro shooting, you need to have freaking steady hands when you press the shutter~~(who would want blur shaky photos)~~. I didn’t edit the photos but for Cloud’s, the colour balance didn’t turned out nice but now it looks much more outstanding.

Been busy. I will shorten this as much as I can so bear with it. I should be sleeping right now actually. Trying to sleep as early as I can and I think the only way is just totally lock my laptop and forget the password so that keeps me away from entering.

Anyway, I got invited to the Red House’s celebration last Fri night. I must say, the same time I’m looking forward, I felt awkward as the same time tho, hello, all of them were only 16 and 17 years old. So yeah… still, brought only sweetheart along so that I won’t be lonely alone.

I did enjoy anyway, it was great despite I didn’t really had enough for my tummy but manage to grab few bites of spaghetti and some seaweed fried rice. Had myself being the photographer for the night though. So here’s some of them and I uploaded almost 300 photos in my Facebook so check them out.

The same time, I finally got the RetinaPad for my iPad which basically boost the iPhone apps to FULL SCREEN and enhance 2x of the resolution of it and the best thing is, IT’S FREE!

The packages finally dropped at my door step this morning! Not just the lens but along with the UV and CPL filter lens. I never knew Malaysia done such great job in postage huh. It just took about few days and Im glad both packages arrived in one piece!

Speaking of the prime lens, it’s actually on behalf on my friend, which I kinda convince him to get one since he told me wanted one very long ago so I thought this would be the right time for him to pick up one. Well nice wrapped I must say, full of bubble wrappers too assure it’s well secured and not to break, it’s fragile.

I finally got macro! WOOHOO! It came along with a pouch but it should have came along with a cloth for wrapping it though. Say, I’ll be receiving goods I purchased for days this week! Yeah, the Mcdonald Coke Can glasses on Tuesday. Today, received my macro close up filter lens, tomorrow will be receiving friend’s fixed lens and lastly my UV and CPL filter lens hopefully will arrive by this Friday!

You betcha! The photo up there was shot using the close up filter lens! Damn, it’s really really surprising and looks promising! Like I mentioned before, it can’t compare with the original macro lens you get out there but this filter lens definitely able to satisfy me for some time!

Putting the macro aside, I actually made my iPad a docking stand. HAHA! Say me cheapo whatever, although purchasing the real thing would be much long lasting or feels more secure but spending Rm60-RM150 for a stand don’t you think it’s too much? To me, yeah! So I came up with my own stand for the iPad! HAHA! Yes, I can place it in either portrait or landscape and even taiping position! How much it cost? It cost zero, baby! It’s just plain thick cardboard and a hard box with some help of the mighty super awesome elephant glue!

It might not looking very presentable but it certainly helped me save my wallet yo! Presenting to you, my own iPad stand! HAHA!

Writing position? No problemo!

Told ya! It’s just thick cardboard and a box to make the whole thing stand.

It you’re willing to scratch your head and DIY yourself, definitely it’s possible to come out with it. It might not as cool as those docking station we saw at Machine store but this definitely saving mother earth by reusing all the junks.

Im glad I did not get rid stuff I kept for years because I knew someday I might need them and they eventually come in handy when the time comes! So hurray! ECO FRIENDLY AND SAVE MOTHER EARTH!

I know, the thing can’t be adjust and so what it if cant? I’m not someone very picky so if you think of adjusting it, go to Machine outlet and get one yours. Still there is slightly tiny problem with the stand, the cardboard kind of smooth surface so the iPad actually slipped. Need to put some “stopper” to hold the iPad. Finding the right material for it now but in the meanwhile, I find it useful and convenient!

Good game are not to be missed! In fact, I still got few games not completed yet and all I did everyday was Pokemon. TnT Pokemon is a drug, deadly those and JIGGLYPUFF IS THE MOST ANNOYING POKEMON I EVER SEEN. =.= Like it or not, I just said it!

Sigh~ it’s written 4:33am now. I should be sleeping RIGHT NOW but God knows why the hell Im still awake right here. =.= Been insomnia for days. Sigh~ I really should make a habit sleeping at 11pm now. No more staying up late till midnight.

I fall in LOVE once again

Ha! Yes! Fallen in love with my Sony A550 once again! It’s really been awhile since I neglected it for months! Sorry, my boy! I’ll make sure I fully utilize you from now on!

Meet my “new” lens Sony DT 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6 SAM lens after the DT 50mm F/1.8 I bought last year Oct! HAHA! The same batch both came along together back in 2009.

The SAM stands for Smooth Autofocus Motor that enable in-lens auto focus (AF) drive for smooth, quiet operation, and high optical performance in a compact size. Optimized for use with APS-C sized image sensors like my Sony A550! Seriously, it’s alot better than the previous one I used, the 18-70mm doesn’t quite cut it and I’m loving this new cutie since I got it on last Tuesday!

It’s an ideal lens for everyday shooting, covering wide range of general purpose applications. I even got this together with a lens hood anyway, not that important tho if I’m shooting under blazing sun to prevent lens flare.
Been shooting with it since this Tuesday as you can see from my previous post. Simply wonderful and I got this lens just merely RM200. HAHA! Gonna come in handy for upcoming outing and vacation in Nov later this year.

In additional, I’d kept looking into filter lens for it. Better safe than sorry if you got any scratches on the glass later.

Found a really great bargain for both UV and CPL filter lens for RM30 both and there is this close-up filter lens caught my attention when I was searching for the 2! A budget filter for photographers who wants to do macro shooting!

HAAA! I haven get to try any of the filter or extension tube though and I don’t know bout you, but I’m surely to get one for my Sony A550 pretty soon! It’s not like they both cost over thousand of dollars. They work perfect and sweet if you plan to do any macro or close up shots!

I “manage’ to woke up at 11.30am this morning and it’s really unbelievable, with of course, the mother who doesn’t allow me to do so and whack me up for lunch at PJ. ==, Thank you very much mother.

There is this Japanese restaurant located at Jaya One named “Mai Ramen”. I won’t strongly recommend going there but just for this time once! The food wasn’t very that tasty and I don’t think I’ll be going back for more in next round.

The RAMEN was so so seriously. My dad cooks even better than this and I prefer the ramen served with seaweed instead. No really… it would taste alot nicer. The dumpling was alright but I only manage to taste 1 piece. >X[

The rice set… IS STRONGLY STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND for ladies in diet. The oil was like soooooooo thick and as if you gonna get heart stroke anytime soon.

The dish tasted great but it’s just TOO OILY to consume lah wah lao wei! See also scary enough woi!

But don’t see it in a bad way… they gave along with a dessert and the plate they served with reminds me when I was small I used to play with. =.= It’s just different pattern and color only.

Really… If Im going to have my meal there next time, definitely, I won’t be ordering any set meal but side dishes.

It’s 2:38am now. It’s Friday. 8th of July. WHAT?!

Man~ Can you believe it’s Friday already?! I really couldn’t imagine that! I still remember last Friday I was watching Transformers 3 with the cutie and went back CHS to visit my Red House! O~M~G! This is just way ridiculous fast man. What?! It’s 8th July already!! TnT

I haven even get to say, “it’s half a year now” but its the 8th day of July. I’ll be going back college anytime soon anyway, the father had been questioning why am I still at home all the time. When Im home all the time, he nag. When Im out all the time, he nag. Dear Father, what the hell do you want from me?! =,=

Anyway, I just finished something and it’s the reason why I wanted to update now while it’s still fresh and “came out from oven”

METAL GEAR REX

Well yeah, I dont expect you to know what is it anyway, just look at it will ya?

It took me 3 days to finish this piece of amazing art craft, yes, I just said it, it’s an art craft made from PAPER. I just print out the template from the internet and if you intend to do one. Please make sure your table is big and clean to start off it AND don’t print them out in A4 size if you don’t have a soft and steady hand like I do. AHEM! Yeah.. It looks simple to you, but wait till you print them all 6 pages of template out.

It’s a nightmare cutting them out. TnT

Just the cutting part and make you cry for hours. I haven gone to the BEST part – sticking them. Basically, normal glue never cut it so prepare a tube of I called it “super OMG wah lao wei kanasai Elephant” glue, cause it turned dry so fast in within 5 seconds and now my fingers are all dry up and it feels weird taiping now. ==

So yes, prepare these material and you are good to go. Scissors, blade, super elephant glue, cutting matt and POKEMON for entertainment. ==, Yes, I do it that way and I don’t know about you.

Im doing this all alone okay, and it took me 3 days. Maybe 2 days half to finished them. Perhaps you try to break my record and I don’t think you’ll make it if you have that patience like I do. TnT

My eyes are actually very tiring and pain right now. After doing all this, really should take a proper healthy lifestyle now or I’ll be so doomed. I might be redoing this ya know? Yeah, I said in Twitter that I not gonna do it even if you give RM50 BUT… perhaps we can nego bout it. xp HAHAHAHAHA!

Yes, I’ll be redoing it… but not A4 size anymore! >X( It’s starting to pissed me when there is one small part where you have to stick it and eventually you get your hands all over the glue. ^&*$^#%^

I might try with A3 size in next round. Don’t be crazy trying to do with A2 or A1 size. It’s just a paper. Thicker type. Once you accidently put your hands ON TOP of it, it’s all over , baby. It’s “fragile” and “puny” but it was fun and totally full of satisfaction when you see the outcome!

My gay buddy came back from the country of ang moh 2 weeks back. Yeah, so we had this dinner day in Mid Valley ONCE AGAIN last Thursday at Madam Kwan’s. All the attention turned to us that night when we were dining in this “VIP” private area. HAHAHA!
